SURFSIDE BOWL PRESENTS
THE Jim Hedges Memorial ScHolarship FunD
The Jim Hedges Memorial Scholarship Fund was started in 2022 by the family of Jim Hedges and through his business, Surfside Bowl. Jim was passionate about bowling, particularly youth bowling. He supported mentoring youth bowling in every way possible and will continue that through this memorial scholarship.
Scholarship Eligibility
Graduating High School Seniors
At least $1000.00 every year will be awarded to ONE individual - Male or FemaleApplication Process
Write an essay based on the following THREE elements:
What bowling has meant to you throughout the years (including any specific achievements throughout your junior bowling career)?
How/why will being a recipient of this award benefit you?
What are your future plans (collegiately speaking and beyond)?

Notification
The recipient of the scholarship will be notified within 5 days upon application deadline closing date.
